So, why did we create Dave Ramsey’s Generation Change? Well, every day our youth are bombarded with a million different voices—everything from billboards to internet ads—telling them who they are and measuring their worth by what they have. The pressure to be accepted in today’s stuff-centered world drives them, and perhaps even their parents, to throw money away on things that don’t matter—all in an attempt to “be somebody.” The result? We’re raising a generation that spends money they don’t have to buy things they don’t need to impress people they don’t even like! It’s time for a change!

Generation Change is taught by Dave via video. A typical class will look like this: You’ll begin the class with the video (10-15 minutes) then open the class up for discussion questions and Bible verses as outlined for you in the Leader’s Guide (Preview a chapter from the Leader's Guide). After the discussion is over, you’ll then play the second half of the video (another 5-10 minutes) then engage in activities that apply to what the teens have learned from each session. There is an option if you choose to watch both video segments together and save room for discussion and activities at the end.
